SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PROGRAM

2009 - 2010 Academic Year

The NJ Section will be making Scholarship Award(s) to student(s) who will be entering their 2nd, 3rd or 4th or graduate years of study at a University or College following and accredited curriculum in Engineering or Science in the Fall of 2010. Applicant must be a member, in good standing, spouse or child of a member or a deceased member. Student members or student sections affiliated with the NJ Section are also eligible. Previous recipients and applicants are eligible to reapply. The scholarship(s) will be awarded based upon academic merit to assist the student in meeting the cost of tuition,fees, books, supplies or required equipment. No restriction or considerations are applied on applications based upon family income. Deadline is March 15 2010!!!

 ISA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION

The newly ISA Educational Foundation will award scholarships beginning in 2001 to graduate and undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding potential for long-range contribution to the fields of instrumentation, systems and automation. The scholarship awards will support tuition and related expenses and research activities and initiatives.

ISA Educational Foundation Awards Available:

· Two  scholarships each to undergraduate students enrolled in an eligible four-year program.
· Additional scholarship awards of $1,000-$4,000 each for undergraduates and $1,000-$3,000 each for graduate students.
Recipients of awards are full-time students at the sophomore year or higher of their study with at least an overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4/0 scale. Preference is given to students who are enrolled in a degree program in instrumentation, systems and automation or a closely related field. See the application from for complete requirements. Your application must be postmarked by 1 March 2008 to be considered for a 2008 scholarship. Recipients will be chosen by August 2008
