Ken Lund is a long time student of the computerization of controls. His work in controls started in field service and over the years he has worked in most stages of the project life cycle. He has worked in, or serviced; the paper, chemical, gas, food, pharmaceutical, beverages, and metals industries. In the pharmaceutical and food industries he has written or executed equipment validation protocols. In college he majored in electrical engineering, economics, and business management. He has worked on some 380 nodes programmable controllers (PLCs, DCSs & PACs), human machine interfaces (OITs & HMIs), robots, and other devices of substantial intelligence.
